Research:

Has initiated and collaborated in many research projects within the institution and with other institutions such as the National Institutes of Health, University of Miami, Walter Reed Army medical Center and others. Most of the research is in the area of clinico-pathological correlation but also includes animal studies. This has resulted in more than 70 publications.
